Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how NurseDrive (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use the NurseDrive mobile application (the “App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and collecting only what is needed to run the App.

Information we collect

• Account information. Creating an account is optional — the App works fully without one. If you do create one, we process your email address through Google Firebase Authentication to sign you in, sync your progress, and restore your subscription on a new device. We also store the date your account was created and whether you opted in to marketing emails.
• Purchase information. Subscription status is processed through RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play. We never receive or store your full payment card details.
• Usage & progress data. Questions answered, scores, and study streaks are stored to power your progress and readiness features. Where you are signed in, this may be stored in Google Cloud Firestore linked to your account.
• Diagnostic data. Aggregated, non-identifying crash and performance data may be collected to improve reliability.

How we use information

We use the information above to provide and personalize the study experience, maintain your subscription entitlements, sync progress across your devices, and improve the App. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not serve third-party advertising.

Marketing emails

When you create an account, you may optionally opt in to receive NCLEX study tips and occasional offers from NurseDrive by email. This checkbox is never pre-ticked, and creating an account does not require it. If you opt in, we record your choice and the date you made it.

You can withdraw your consent at any time — in the App under Settings → My account, or by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Withdrawing consent does not affect your account or your subscription. We do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing.

Service providers

We rely on the following processors, each under their own privacy terms: Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple / Google (payments and app distribution).

Data retention & your choices

Deleting your account. You can delete your account and its associated data directly in the App, at any time: Settings → My account → Delete my account. This permanently removes your profile and stored progress from our systems and cannot be undone. You may also write to us at the address below if you prefer.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription: subscriptions are managed by Apple, and you can cancel yours in your Apple ID settings (or Google Play on Android).

We keep account data for as long as your account exists. If you never create an account, your progress and your daily free-question counter stay on your device and are never sent to us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

NurseDrive is intended for nursing students and professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
